Opera Announces Integration with Polygon to Enable Ethereum Layer-2 CapabilitiesAuthor: Yuvi December 25, 2021
Opera browser announced yesterday that it will integrate with Polygon, an Ethereum scaling platform that connects millions of people on Web3. The integration will take place in the first quarter of 2022.
Following the integration, millions of Opera users will have in-browser access to over 3,000 decentralized apps (dApps) on the Polygon Network. Opera’s in-built browser crypto wallet will also allow users to transact with MATIC.
Polygon is a framework for building Ethereum-compatible blockchain networks and scaling solutions. At press time, its native token, MATIC is trading around $2.6 per coin after hitting a new all-time high a few hours ago.
